This role is focused on managing and evolving complex virtualized infrastructures within on-premises and hybrid environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of critical systems. You will play a key role in supporting business continuity through stable and scalable virtualization platforms. The position involves working closely with cross-functional infrastructure teams, including network, storage, security, and cloud specialists. You will contribute to infrastructure modernization initiatives, including migrations, expansions, and optimizations. • Administer and maintain on-premises and/or hybrid virtualization environments, ensuring stability, performance, and availability of infrastructure services.
• Create, configure, and manage virtual machines, supporting business and technical requirements across different environments.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Analyze and resolve incidents of medium and high complexity (N2/N3), ensuring timely and effective root cause resolution.
• Execute and validate backup, restore, and Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Apply patches, updates, and fixes across virtualization platforms to maintain security and compliance standards.
• Support infrastructure projects involving migrations, expansions, and environment consolidation in collaboration with technical teams.
• Collaborate with networking, storage, security, and cloud teams to ensure integrated and secure infrastructure operations.
• Ensure adherence to security policies, compliance requirements, and best practices in infrastructure management.
• Document technical procedures, configurations, and environment standards for operational consistency.

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Solid experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platform.
• Experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration.
• Knowledge of Linux environments (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (desirable).
• Experience in troubleshooting and incident resolution in complex infrastructure environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for technical incident management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional technical teams.
• Good communication skills and capacity to document technical processes clearly.
