P&C Product Management Manager - State Management

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a P&C Product Management Manager – State Management based in United States.

As a P&C Product Management Manager, you will help shape profitable growth and product strategy across assigned states, with a focus on Idaho and Nevada.
You will combine insurance expertise, advanced data analysis, and market intelligence to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
The role partners closely with pricing, underwriting, claims, marketing, compliance, legal, and regulatory stakeholders.
You will translate complex business and customer data into actionable recommendations that influence multi-year state strategies.
Your insights will help strengthen product performance, manage risk, respond to competitive dynamics, and improve member outcomes.
This is a highly collaborative role with visibility to senior leadership and opportunities to drive best practices across the broader P&C organization.
The position is remote eligible across the continental U.S., with occasional travel and location-based office requirements where applicable.

Accountabilities:
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to generate insights into state-specific P&L, marketing strategies, customer behavior, product performance, and investment effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute analytical recommendations that support multi-year P&C state strategies and profitable growth objectives.
  • Use data sources and analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, Tableau, R, and similar technologies to answer financial and customer-related business questions.
  • Partner with pricing, underwriting, claims, marketing, and other internal teams to build a comprehensive view of customer and market dynamics and identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor competitive activity, underwriting initiatives, rate levels, emerging trends, and product performance to inform strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and performance monitoring tools that clearly communicate business results and key insights to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Collaborate with external regulators and internal Government & Industry Relations, Legal, and Compliance partners to support the successful introduction and management of strategic actions in assigned markets.
  • Evaluate product performance metrics and competitor actions to identify opportunities that can be applied at regional or enterprise levels.
  • Prepare product briefings, strategic recommendations, and executive-level presentations that translate complex analysis into clear business actions.
  • Serve as a subject-matter resource for colleagues by providing guidance and training on product management processes and initiatives.
  • Identify, assess, monitor, and help mitigate business risks in accordance with applicable risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • At least 4 years of relevant product management experience involving data analysis, business recommendations, and strategic decision-making, or an advanced business degree combined with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience.
  • Experience developing product briefings and presenting insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze product performance, market dynamics, competitor underwriting strategies, and rate-level information.
  • Working knowledge of applicable insurance product regulations, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong P&C business acumen across areas such as product management, pricing, underwriting, and product intelligence.
  • Proven ability to work with complex datasets, identify meaningful trends, and translate analysis into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Proficiency with Excel and data/analytics platforms such as Snowflake, SQL, Tableau, R, SAS, or comparable tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership behaviors and the ability to collaborate effectively across a complex organization.
  • Experience connected to the U.S. military community, whether through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner, is a plus.
  • Candidates must be able to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

  • Competitive salary range of $103,450–$197,730, with actual compensation determined by experience, location, and market factors.
