Job Description
Support buyer on PO management through pulling and sorting WB to be sent out for RFQ
Provide analysis and suggestions for PO placement to be reviewed and approved by buyer/management
Support indirect purchasing through Req processing
Support buyer for indirect reqs supporting the shop floor
Work to support Buyer on Key Vendor Relationship
Order book management and alignment through expedite requests
Work specifically on set vendors with weekly OOR follow-ups and expedite requests
Engage with associated buyer with feedback and troubleshooting for issues as determined through data review
Supplier visits
Schedule 2 visits to local vendors in NW area
Go onsite w/ associated buyer to review vendor capability and health
Each visit provide report out for visit including observations and takeaways
Provide a presentation at the end of the internship showing accomplishments, lessons learned, and suggestions for improvement.
Role will be onsite M-F in NW w/ remote work on Friday due to plant closure
