Job Description
Richardson is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to support our fast-paced manufacturing operations. This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently.
This position works on a wide variety of manufacturing equipment including industrial embroidery machines, automated cutting equipment, heat press systems, conveyors, compressors, pneumatic systems, and facility equipment. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience working in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-2:00am, overtime as needed. (Three day weekends!!)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and complete timely repairs to minimize production downtime
- Repair and replace bearings, belts, chains, gears, pulleys, bushings, and motors
- Perform equipment setup, adjustments, alignments, and installations
- Troubleshoot pneumatic systems including valves, airlines, cylinders, and compressors
- Support PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and perform basic programming adjustments
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documents
- Perform welding, fabrication, and light electrical work as needed
- Assist with facility maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, and concrete repair
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, scissor lifts, and other powered equipment
- Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and workplace safety standards
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and preventive maintenance documentation
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production support needs
- Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or maintenance mechanic experience
- Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment repair
Technical Skills:
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair
- Electrical troubleshooting and low-voltage systems
- Pneumatic and compressed air systems
- Hydraulic systems experience preferred
- PLC troubleshooting and basic programming knowledge preferred
- Welding and metal fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals
- Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and LOTO requirements
Certification Preferred:
- Maintenance Technician Certification
- HVAC Certification
- Forklift Certification
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work at heights using ladders or lifts
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in a manufacturing environment
