Summary:
Performs casino Floor Attendance and EGD/Sports Wagering Supervisor duties depending on operational needs. Provides effective guidance and assistance in regards to accomplishing the goals and objectives of the EGD/Sports Wagering department; assists with the department operations in a guest service friendly, efficient and profitable manner that promotes superior team member, guest and vendor relations.

Essential Functions:
• Depending on assigned role, will assist with personnel functions, such as: interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, development, supervision, delegations, evaluations and disciplinary actions; will perform these functions in a timely manner.
• Compiles and enters information into the computer systems and HRIS database.
• Actively monitors casino floor for maintenance/call lights on gaming machines to determine the next steps that are required to get the machine online and operating for guests.
• Performs paper fills as needed, including sports wagering kiosks.
• Corrects minor technical problems with machines.
• Conducts Drop process on casino machines.
• Accurately explains winning combinations (pay tables) to the guests and verifies/processes jackpots.
• Provides accurate directions in operating sports wagering kiosks.
• Immediately reports any suspicious behavior by either guests or team members to a supervisor.
• Assists newly trained team members.
• Promotes casino promotions/activities/events and will assist marketing efforts as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of work stations which includes, but is not limited to, gaming machines, the MT podium, EGD/Sports Wagering office, etc.
• Helps investigate and resolve complaints or concerns.
• Demonstrates initiative in fulfilling guest’s needs and addressing potential issues.
• Manages inventory issues, including: ordering supplies, inventory control and equipment maintenance.
• Prepares, and ensures the preparation of, daily, weekly, monthly and annual paperwork and any reports according to department and company needs; this may include some payroll and other administrative duties.
• Directs and assists with drug testing process at times.
• Will cover shifts when needed.
• Complies with all applicable laws, policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Provides a high standard of professionalism and guest service.
• Must maintain confidentiality.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year of EGD/Sports Wagering experience; AND
• Minimum six (6) months of supervisory experience. OR
• A combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the requirement of the position which must include related college/leadership/supervisory classes, EGD/Sports Wagering, and supervisory experience.
• Ability to understand, speak, communicate and read the English language.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in windows-based programs and knowledge to operate general office equipment, software and databases.
• Strong conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Ability to be fair, consistent, honest, and unbiased.
• Ability to take initiative and be proactive in the duties of the position.
• Must successfully complete Title 31, Banking Secrecy Act training upon hire and annually.
• Will be required to obtain and maintain a Class 12 or 13 Mixology (MAST) permit, whichever is applicable.
• Must successfully pass TIPS training as required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple information ports by comparing and contrasting data to draw a conclusion or to identify trends.
• Ability to communicate professionally in written, verbal, and non-verbal format while portraying a friendly tone, word choice, and body language.
• Ability to work various shifts including evenings, holidays, weekends, and overtime.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Tribal Gaming License.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:
• Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
• Ability to frequently walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to occasionally sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to frequently bend, squat and/or reach.
• Sufficient visual acuity to write, recognize printed materials, computer screen, and notice non-verbal behavior.
• Speech and hearing ability to project voice to small and large audiences, carry on radio/telephone conversations, hear and grasp verbal communications and equipment prompts.
• Ability to comprehend complex issues.
• Frequently works near or around electricity.
• Occasionally works near or around moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally exposed to vibration.
• Frequently exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment.
• Frequently exposed to tobacco smoke, fumes or airborne particles.
• Frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
