Position Summary

The Quality Control Coordinator is a dynamic, high‑impact role that combines hands‑on jobsite inspections with involvement across multiple areas of the business, including estimating, sales, operations management, installation, and field training. This position is responsible for inspecting active and completed projects to ensure workmanship meets company standards, project specifications, and manufacturer requirements, while working closely with field teams, leadership, and manufacturer representatives.

By being directly involved in inspecting projects throughout all phases of construction, the Quality Control Coordinator gains a front‑row view of both the successes and challenges that drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
Conduct quality inspections on active and completed roofing projectsEnsure work complies with company standards, project specifications, and manufacturer requirementsPrepare clear, photo‑documented inspection reports with corrective recommendationsCoach and support foremen and field teams on quality workmanshipCoordinate in‑progress and final inspections with manufacturers and operations teamsTrack quality deficiencies and identify trends for continuous improvementSupport field and classroom training, including apprenticeship programsCommunicate quality performance results to operations leadership
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required 


Education

Bachelors degree preferred, not required

Experience

At least 5 years in commercial roofing installation or roofing technical quality assuranceRegistered Roof Observer IIBEC certification a plus but not required

Skills & Requirements

Minimum 18 years of ageValid driver’s license and insurable driving recordSuccessful Pre-Employment Drug Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tallAbility to lift 100 LBS or moreSuccessful Background CheckBilingual ( English/Spanish) Preferred
