Job Description
Analyze production reporting and physical inventories. Maintains inventory accuracy and the proper flow of materials from receiving to usage in production.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS
- Execute daily and weekly physical inventory counts.
- Execute warehouse cycle counts.
- Maintain and track inventory through ERP system.
- Oversee/monitor the flow of materials to ensure plant success.
- Process, develop, and maintain reports on inventory.
- Work with teams at the plant level to ensure successful inventory movement, planning and storage.
- Investigate difference of inventory-root cause and put corrective action improvement in place.
- Bar code scanning.
- Picking orders from the warehouse.
- Assist with training of associates on inventory practices and systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Experience:
- 2–3-year inventory experience preferred.
- Barcode scanning experience preferred.
- General production experience preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Must be able to work independently.
- Organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Proven ethical behavior.
- Ability to work well under pressure and quickly assess and respond appropriately to situations.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly.
- Ability to read, interpret and follow written instructions.
- Ability to use basic math skills.
- Ability to follow and comply with quality standards.
- Ability to comprehend and comply with GMP rules and Food Safety guidelines.
- Obtain and maintain a valid hi-lo license.

- Ability to frequently lift/move material weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Proficient using PC, via keyboard/mouse, and various software applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to comprehend and comply with GMP rules and Food Safety guidelines.
- Ability to work as contributing member within the team.
