This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor(a) Backend Pleno based in Brazil.

We are looking for a Backend Developer to build and evolve scalable digital solutions that improve customer experiences through robust and reliable systems.
In this role, you will work on APIs, integrations, and backend services that support key customer journeys involving CRM, billing, automation, and self-service platforms.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including frontend developers, QA specialists, and product professionals to deliver high-quality solutions.

Accountabilities:

The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend solutions that ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across digital platforms.

  • Develop and maintain backend APIs and services using Java and Python, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability for CRM, billing, chatbot, and self-service solutions.
  • Build and maintain integrations between internal and external systems, ensuring efficient communication between services and applications.
  • Implement automated tests, perform code reviews, and apply quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver consistent, scalable, and user-focused solutions.
  • Apply best practices for code versioning, documentation, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support junior developers by sharing technical knowledge, development practices, and engineering standards.
  • Contribute ideas and improvements to backend architecture, including microservices design and system evolution.
  • Help optimize existing solutions by identifying opportunities for performance, reliability, and maintainability improvements.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate has solid backend development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate in a dynamic technology environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Solid experience developing applications with Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python (Flask).
  • Experience building and integrating REST APIs with external services.
  • Practical experience with microservices architecture, including deployment and event-driven integrations.
  • Experience with build and dependency management tools such as Maven, Gradle, pip, Poetry, or virtual environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Git and software version control practices.
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, including data modeling and query optimization.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, preferably with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience using Docker and container-based development environments.
  • Experience with caching and messaging technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Google Cloud Pub/Sub, including publish/subscribe patterns and asynchronous processing.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CDN, load balancing, and caching strategies.
  • Experience integrating with CRM platforms and/or recurring billing systems.
