- Evaluate contractual terms and provide substantive guidance on legal, commercial, operational, security, regulatory, and business considerations.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Enterprise Risk Management, Audit, Security, Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Account Executives, and Vendor Management teams.
- Ensure agreements appropriately address healthcare regulations, data privacy, security, service levels, implementation requirements, audit readiness, and other applicable compliance obligations.
- Develop and maintain standardized contract templates, playbooks, governance standards, and negotiation approaches to improve consistency, quality, and turnaround times.
- Optimize contract lifecycle management systems, workflows, dashboards, reporting, and automation to improve contract visibility, governance, and operational efficiency.
- Responsibly leverage AI-enabled contract review and automation tools in accordance with applicable organizational policies and legal guidance.
- Track and report contract performance metrics, including contract volume, cycle time, non-standard provisions, risk escalations, renewal activity, and stakeholder service levels.
- Drive continuous improvements across contract intake, review, approval, renewal, and post-execution processes.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on contract management best practices and support enterprise-wide improvements in contract governance.
- Help improve deal velocity while maintaining appropriate contractual risk controls and supporting broader business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, legal studies, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive contracts management experience, including substantial experience with complex technology, SaaS, vendor, partner, and customer agreements.
- Advanced knowledge of commercial contract structures involving data privacy, security, service levels, implementation services, SaaS models, renewals, and related business terms.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance considerations.
- Advanced contract drafting, negotiation, issue-resolution, and risk-assessment skills, with the ability to independently manage complex agreements.
- Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to balance business enablement against legal, regulatory, and operational risk.
- Demonstrated ability to advise senior executives, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate complex contractual issues in clear, practical language.
- Experience developing, updating, and managing contract templates, playbooks, governance standards, and contracting processes.
- Knowledge of contract lifecycle management systems, workflow automation, dashboards, reporting, and contract performance metrics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume, high-complexity contract portfolio.
- Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, autonomy, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Experience with healthcare technology contracting is preferred, including business associate agreements, data use agreements, and SaaS subscription terms.
