Are you ready to make a positive impact by joining an energetic and innovative healthcare environment? We're looking for a motivated AR Representative to join our team as we grow the department. As an Accounts Receivable Representative, you will play an integral role in ensuring the financial health of our clinics. This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet accounts receivable productivity benchmarks
- Communicate with payers regarding outstanding claims, question denials and request reprocessing of claims
- Manage denials by correcting errors, resubmitting claims to correct payer, submitting corrected claims, or appealing carrier denials
- Document account notes in the billing system for each action taken to resolve outstanding balances
- Handle incoming calls regarding patient balances for all clinics
- Respond to requests from the payer for information to support claims processing
- Utilize insurance carrier websites to investigate eligibility, claim status, and other information for claim resolution
- Identify trends relative to payers, clinics, staff, services, providers, or policies
- Communicate insurance overpayments to appropriate AR team member
- Report incorrect payments and posting errors to payment posting team
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ medical accounts receivable experience (experience in physical therapy preferred)
- Customer service focused
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer skills including data entry, Excel & Microsoft Office and ability to navigate multiple programs, browsers, network connections, file management and search tools
