This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid-Level QA / Tester Analyst based in Brazil.

This role focuses on validating and ensuring the quality of software deliveries across Product and Development teams. You will analyze requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria to design thorough testing strategies for web applications and digital solutions. Your work will cover functional, exploratory, regression, integration, API, and acceptance testing. You will play a key role in identifying defects early, documenting issues clearly, and ensuring fixes do not introduce new problems. Working closely with Product and Development, you will help maintain traceability and quality throughout the software development lifecycle. This is a fully remote opportunity structured as an initial three-month project, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

Accountabilities:

As a QA / Tester Analyst, you will be responsible for planning and executing testing activities across applications, integrations, and internal systems. You will ensure that deliveries meet functional requirements and acceptance criteria before reaching production, while maintaining clear documentation and close collaboration with development teams.

  • Execute functional, exploratory, regression, integration, and acceptance tests.
  • Validate web applications and newly developed functionalities.
  • Perform API and system integration testing.
  • Validate workflows involving internal systems and automation processes.
  • Identify bugs, defects, inconsistencies, and unexpected application behavior.
  • Clearly document defects with relevant evidence and the information required for reproduction.
  • Track identified bugs through resolution and collaborate with developers during the correction process.
  • Perform retesting after fixes and development adjustments.
  • Execute regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Validate software deliveries before they are released to production.
  • Query and validate database information when required during testing.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, acceptance criteria, tests performed, and results obtained.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Development teams to support high-quality releases.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with software and web application testing, strong analytical skills, and a structured approach to documenting and tracking quality activities. You should be comfortable interpreting technical and business requirements, identifying defects, and working collaboratively within agile development environments.

  • Experience testing systems and web applications.
  • Experience creating test scenarios and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience executing functional tests.
  • Experience performing regression testing.
  • Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs through resolution.
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to interpret functional requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills for maintaining test documentation and evidence.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Product and Development teams.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent testing processes and documentation.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote work model.
  • PJ (contractor) engagement.
  • Initial 3-month project duration.
  • Possibility of extension based on business demand and performance.
  • Opportunity to contribute to digital products and solutions within a technology-driven environment.
  • Collaboration with Product and Development teams.
  • Exposure to a broad range of testing activities, including web, API, integration, regression, and acceptance testing.
