The Office Manager for Student Health Services would assist in the daily operations of Student Health Services. The Office Manager would assist in the management of students by accessing and utilizing Student Health Services by maintaining records of appointments, management of follow-up appointments, and other administrative duties that elevate the student experience. Additionally, the Office Manager will assist the medical staff of Student Health Services with the necessary preparation and transmittal of U.S.C.G.719K forms, SUNY Maritime Health forms, to assist in the general management of State and Federal reporting requirements. The Office Manager will also manage and maintain email communications with the current and incoming students regarding required documentation and processing. The office hours for this position will be Monday through Friday between the hours of 7AM- 3PM
- Assist in the daily operations of Student Health Services in support of Sick Call/ medical appointments and scheduling.
- Collect, maintain, and transmit as required, U.S.C.G., SUNY and State and Federally required medical documentation required for current, incoming, and former students as required by records retention policies.
- Manage and maintain phone and email contacts with Student Health Services for both campus departments and outside entities
- Responsible for record maintenance ensuring records are up to date in Pyramid
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 2-5 years of Microsoft office experience.
- Possess a working knowledge of computer applications and web-based technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
Additional Information:
Classification/Salary Range: The Staff Assistant/Office Manager is a UUP position. The anticipated salary range for the position is $51,261 - $55,000 annually, with an outstanding benefits package (for more information please see the Full-Time UUP Benefits Summary). Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Review of applications to commence immediately and conclude when the position is filled.
Special Notes: This is a full-time calendar year temporary appointment UUP Position. Fair Labor Standard Acts (FLSA) Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.
