You will lead and grow the social media presence of a growing digital platform serving millions of authors and publishing professionals.
The role combines creativity, editorial judgment, and data analysis to create content that writers genuinely want to engage with.
You will transform expertise, products, and community insights into useful, inspiring, and entertaining social content.
You will develop recurring formats, campaigns, and creative concepts that strengthen a distinctive and recognizable brand.
Working closely with writers and designers, you will help shape and evolve the brand’s voice and visual presence across key channels.
You will monitor performance, identify what resonates with audiences, and continuously refine the content and social strategy.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious social media professional to have meaningful ownership and measurable impact in a creative, fast-moving environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and continuously grow the brand’s presence across its key social media channels, building an engaged and relevant audience.
  • Transform expertise, products, and community insights into clear, useful, and engaging content for writers and publishing professionals.
  • Develop recurring content formats, social campaigns, and creative concepts that balance education, inspiration, and entertainment.
  • Collaborate with writers and designers to strengthen and evolve the brand’s voice, creative direction, and social presence.
  • Monitor social performance and audience engagement, identifying trends and insights that can inform future content decisions.
  • Use performance data and audience feedback to continuously improve the content strategy and maximize measurable impact.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience growing a brand and building a large, engaged social media audience, ideally within a fast-growing startup or similarly dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record of developing social media campaigns that generated measurable results, supported by concrete examples of impact.
  • Strong analytical and creative abilities, with the capacity to use performance data to guide compelling content decisions.
  • Excellent editorial judgment and a strong command of written English, with the ability to create clear, polished, and engaging content.
  • Deep understanding of what makes social content useful, engaging, relevant, and shareable.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and accessibly without oversimplifying them.
  • Genuine interest in writing, publishing, books, or the broader creator economy.
  • Experience creating short-form video content, familiarity with the publishing industry or independent-author challenges, and fluency in multiple languages are valuable advantages.
  • Ambition, curiosity, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of humor are highly valued.
Benefits:
  • Opportunity to take ownership of the social media strategy and directly influence audience growth and brand development.
  • Creative and collaborative environment with close interaction across content, writing, and design.
  • Opportunity to work with a large community of authors and publishing professionals.
  • Exposure to the publishing, writing, and creator economy sectors.
  • Role offering significant scope for experimentation, learning, and measurable creative impact.
  • Flexible, dynamic environment suited to an ambitious social media professional.
