Legacy Solutions Inc. is seeking a motivated and qualified Certified Middle School Math Teacher for one of our partner schools located on the Northside of Jacksonville. The ideal candidate will have a strong mathematics background and be comfortable and experienced with Algebra I instruction.

The teacher will be responsible for creating an engaging, structured, and supportive classroom environment that helps students strengthen their mathematical skills, develop confidence, and prepare for continued academic success.

Key Responsibilities
Provide effective instruction in Middle School Mathematics and Algebra I
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Florida academic standards
Differentiate instruction to meet varying student learning needs
Monitor and assess student progress and use data to guide instruction
Maintain an organized, positive, and productive classroom environment
Prepare students for applicable assessments and high school-level mathematics
Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and colleagues
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities
Maintain accurate student records, grades, and required documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Current Florida Teaching Certificate or Statement of Eligibility preferred/required
Certification appropriate for Middle Grades Mathematics or Mathematics
Strong knowledge of Algebra I concepts and instruction
Previous middle school teaching experience preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to engage and motivate diverse learners
