Legacy Solutions Inc. is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic, and student-focused Certified Middle School Science Teacher for one of our partner schools located on the Northside of Jacksonville.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for science education and the ability to create an engaging classroom environment where students can explore scientific concepts, develop critical-thinking skills, and achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities
Provide effective instruction in Middle School Science
Develop and implement engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans
Incorporate hands-on activities, demonstrations, and inquiry-based learning when appropriate
Differentiate instruction to address varying student learning needs
Monitor and assess student progress and use data to guide instruction
Prepare students for applicable state and school assessments
Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment
Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and colleagues
Maintain accurate grades, attendance, and required student documentation
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Current Florida Teaching Certificate or Statement of Eligibility preferred/required
Certification appropriate for Middle Grades Science or Science
Strong knowledge of middle school science concepts
Previous classroom teaching experience preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to engage and motivate diverse learners
Commitment to student achievement and academic excellence
