Staff Accountant, International

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Accountant, International based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to global accounting operations within a fast-growing healthcare and wellness organization.
You will support international financial reporting, consolidation activities, and month-end close processes across multiple markets.
The position combines technical accounting expertise with cross-functional collaboration across finance, tax, FP&A, and external partners.
You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial information as international operations continue to expand.

Accountabilities:

As a Staff Accountant, International, you will support global accounting activities by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across international operations. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to strengthen financial processes, support market expansion, and maintain high-quality reporting standards.

  • Support daily, weekly, and monthly US GAAP accounting activities for international entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
  • Assist with month-end close processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and consolidation activities within ERP systems.
  • Review and support intercompany transactions, eliminations, and international accounting adjustments.
  • Assist with preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination with external auditors when required.
  • Maintain accounting documentation, policies, and internal controls while supporting SOX compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements that increase accounting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Support due diligence activities and accounting integration efforts for new market launches and international expansion.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and serve as a reliable point of contact for accounting-related questions and projects.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented accounting professional with experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with teams across different regions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, with Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • CPA track preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of US GAAP, with exposure to IFRS considered a plus.
  • Experience supporting month-end close activities and preparing account reconciliations.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical abilities with the capability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines while maintaining accuracy in a high-growth environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
