Transaction Management Associate

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Transaction Management Associate in India.

This role sits within a high-performing global trade operations environment, focusing on the accurate and timely processing of complex financial security transactions across multiple asset classes. You will play a key role in ensuring end-to-end trade lifecycle integrity, from confirmation through settlement, while actively resolving operational exceptions and coordinating with brokers, custodians, and internal stakeholders. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage high-volume workflows under tight deadlines in a fast-paced financial services setting. You will also contribute to improving operational efficiency by identifying root causes of trade breaks and supporting process enhancements. With exposure to global markets and sophisticated trading systems, this role offers a strong foundation in investment operations and transaction management. Accountabilities:
  • Monitor and resolve trade confirmation exceptions across platforms such as Aladdin, CTM, and TradeSuite, including unmatched trades, broker allegements, and confirmation breaks.
  • Investigate and resolve trade transmission and messaging failures, ensuring successful communication with custodians and relevant counterparties.
  • Manage FX-related exceptions, reconciling discrepancies between internal systems and custodian SWIFT messages and coordinating necessary fixes.
  • Support trade settlement processes, including pre-matching, monitoring failing trades, and working with brokers and custodians to ensure timely resolution.
  • Escalate recurring trade breaks or operational issues to management to support root-cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform cash and stock reconciliations and support daily operational trade management activities across global markets.
  • Assist with reporting activities including end-of-day extracts, KPI reporting, and monitoring of trade settlement performance metrics.
  • Support counterparty lifecycle processes such as onboarding, KYC coordination, LEI setup, and connectivity with external trading platforms.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure smooth trade processing, exception management, and operational support across regions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, with strong exposure to trade operations or post-trade processing.
  • Solid understanding of equities, fixed income, and broader financial instruments including bonds, repos, and structured products.
  • Hands-on experience in trade confirmation, settlement processes, and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with tools such as CTM and TradeSuite; experience with Aladdin is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex workflows and resolve exceptions efficiently.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads, prioritize effectively, and perform under strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams and stakeholders.
