About the Role

We're looking for a Financial Controller to lead and strengthen the financial operations of our growing organization.

This is a hands-on leadership role that will partner closely with executive leadership to support smart decision-making, build scalable processes, and ensure we have the financial foundation needed to continue growing successfully.

In addition to overseeing accounting and financial operations, this individual will play a key role in developing and mentoring our bookkeeping team, helping create structure, accountability, and opportunities for growth as the company continues to expand.

Requirements:

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Financial Leadership

Manage and oversee the company's accounting and financial operations across a growing portfolio of properties, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong financial controls.

Reporting & Business Partnership

Provide financial reporting, analysis, and insights that support strategic decision-making. Partner closely with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term planning.

Growth & Process Improvement

Help build scalable financial processes and systems that support continued growth. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen reporting, and enhance operational performance.

Team Development

Lead, mentor, and develop the bookkeeping team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with financial, tax, payroll, and regulatory requirements while supporting audits and maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of accounting, finance, or financial leadership experience preferred
  • Experience supporting multi-location or multi-entity organizations
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and business operations
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or developing team members
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • A proactive problem solver who enjoys building processes and improving systems
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment where priorities evolve
  • Hospitality, property management, retail, or service industry experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (CPA is a plus)
