Assembly Technician - 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $16.00-$17.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | M-F

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technicians to join a growing manufacturing team in Brevard, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in electronics, production, and light manufacturing. Team members will work in a clean, climate-controlled facility assembling components and subassemblies while following engineering drawings and production instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, manufacturing routers, and work instructions
• Work as part of an assembly line team, completing assigned production tasks and passing units through the manufacturing process
• Utilize hand tools such as wire cutters, needle-nose pliers, rulers, wire strippers, and pneumatic tools
• Operate assembly equipment including soldering irons, arbor presses, grinders, scales, and band saws
• Perform basic quality inspections using testing equipment such as multimeters and hi-pot testers
• Properly identify materials, products, and production processes while maintaining quality and compliance standards
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to pass an entry-level skills assessment
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is helpful but not required
• Willingness to learn new processes and work in a team-oriented environment

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift
• Comfortable working with manufacturing materials and chemicals, including epoxy, catalyst, isopropyl alcohol, solder, and cleaning agents
