As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), you'll support residents by safely administering medications and providing compassionate care that promotes independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities include:
- Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support individualized care plans that promote resident health and independence
- Monitor resident needs and communicate important updates to the care team
- Encourage resident participation in social activities and community events
- Help create a safe, supportive, and dignified living environment
- Provide compassionate assistance while respecting each resident's preferences and needs
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in South Dakota required
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care
- Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and team members
