Position Summary
As the overseer of Harvest Home’s Social Engagement and Enrichment (S.E.E.) Program, this position creates purposeful, meaningful, and engaging activities for seniors living with all stages of dementia. The ideal candidate will have experience working with older adults with dementia and a passion for recognizing each resident’s unique abilities, interests, and life experiences. This role works closely with an upbeat administrative team, providing guidance and support to caregivers while helping residents enjoy meaningful daily activities. A background in healthcare, therapy, education, or a related field is preferred. Responsibilities
• Promotes Harvest Home mission and philosophy in daily work.
• Provides the caregivers and volunteers with planned daily activities and equipment.
• Provides assessment and documentation of resident participation in group and /or individual social/recreational programs.
• Carries out specific activities such as events, resident outings, more involved projects, entertainment, etc.
• Purchase and organize activity supplies appropriately and within provided budget.
• Take pictures of Harvest Home events, activities, and residents per their HIPAA preferences.
• Reports any abuse, suspected abuse or alleged abuse to the appropriate agency(s).
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Enjoys thinking of new ideas/being creative.

• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Holds a valid driver’s license of the appropriate type and a driving record which meets Harvest Home insurance standards.
All general staffing requirements:
1. Free of communicable disease
2. Able to physically/mentally perform tasks, as verified by a health screening that includes TB clearance
3. Criminal record clearance and background check as required by Wisconsin Bureau of Quality Assurance
4. Current First Aid certification
5. Ability to read, write, and understand English
6. General understanding of the needs of the elderly and client specific needs per Harvest Home Senior Living Services license
7. Willingness to learn
Education & Experience
Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must have at least one year’s experience working with the elderly population.
