You’ll combine business development, technical sales, project coordination, and account management to help customers find the right precast concrete solutions for their projects. You’ll work directly with contractors, customers, and industry partners while collaborating with our internal sales, engineering, production, and accounting teams to move opportunities from initial conversation through confirmed order and delivery.

What You’ll Do

Business Development & Sales

  • Generate and qualify leads for underground precast concrete products across the commercial, private, and public sectors.
  • Identify, develop, and secure client referrals through general contractors and industry partners.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing customer accounts.
  • Develop, grow, and sustain new customer accounts.
  • Conduct in-person, phone, and electronic sales calls with prospective and existing customers.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Develop and deliver presentations highlighting Mack Industries products, technologies, and services.
  • Prepare quotations and sales proposals and actively follow up to convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
  • Work with the sales team to monitor and manage quotations throughout the sales cycle.

Customer & Project Support

  • Review site plans, structural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to understand customer needs and project requirements.
  • Prepare job take-offs and quantity estimates.
  • Conduct job site visits and provide ongoing technical support to customers.
  • Address contractor concerns and coordinate corrective action plans when necessary.
  • Stay engaged throughout the project to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.

Account Management & Administration

  • Maintain accurate sales activity records and prepare periodic sales reports.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team to manage payments and collections on sales orders.
  • Complete expense reports and other required documentation in a timely manner.

Market Intelligence & Team Collaboration

  • Monitor competitor activities, market conditions, and product developments.
  • Identify opportunities for process, product, and service improvements.
  • Share market intelligence, customer insights, and selling strategies with fellow sales team members to support comprehensive market coverage.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Construction Management, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous sales experience preferred.
  • Project Management experience preferred, particularly within the construction, concrete, or precast industry.
  • Experience working with construction plans, specifications, and project documentation is a plus.
  • Understanding of customer service principles and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of business and sales concepts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience using spreadsheets, databases, CRM systems, and sales tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of precast concrete products and structures preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Valid driver’s license.

What Makes You Successful

  • Relationship Builder: You enjoy developing trust and building long-term partnerships with customers and industry contacts.
  • Business Developer: You’re comfortable identifying opportunities, developing new accounts, and growing existing business.
  • Self-Motivated: You can independently manage your territory, prioritize opportunities, and stay focused on goals.
  • Customer-Focused: You respond with urgency and stay involved throughout the project to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Problem Solver: You can understand project needs, work through challenges, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Strong Communicator: You’re comfortable presenting ideas, influencing decisions, negotiating, and working with a variety of customers and partners.
