Newbury Flats - Leasing Consultant in Saint Charles, Missouri at Engage Management

LEASING AGENT (PART-TIME)
Reports to: Property Manager
Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview
The Leasing Agent is the welcoming first point of contact for prospective residents at Newbury Flats. This part-time role supports the Property Manager in touring, leasing, and renewing apartment homes, while helping maintain the community's presentation and delivering a consistently great experience for residents and prospects alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect with prospects during initial contact and follow up accordingly
• Give property tours to prospective residents, highlighting Newbury Flats' features and amenities
• Process applications, including:
  • Gathering paperwork, verifying income, running screening, processing rental verification, sending move-in letters, and securing guarantor applications (if needed)
• Field resident and prospect concerns by taking calls, responding to email, and entering requests into Rent Manager in a timely manner
• Prepare:
  • Property collateral packets, including brochure, applications, map, business card, etc.
  • Move-in documents, including keys
  • Lease renewal paperwork
• Maintain general cleanliness of the leasing office and model units
• Assist with rent collection
• Follow up on work orders
• Support quarterly market surveys
• Serve as backup for the Property Manager, as needed
• Complete all training as required

Requirements

• Prior leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable learning new systems and software (Rent Manager or similar)
• Ability to work in Windows
