Infusion Nurse - Per Diem in Houston, Texas at Medix Infusion

We have a team-orientated career opportunity to join our company as a PRN RN to take care of infusion medicine patients supporting teams in our Pasadena and Sugarland locations.

As a fundamental part of our patient safety and service program, our Infusion Nurses work closely with our physician, clinical staff, and management team.

Responsibilities:

· At least 5 years’ experience as a RN is required.

· At least two years of experience working with infusion medicine patients, ED, or PACU is preferred.

· Ability to work weekends

· Demonstrated knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety protocols.

· Knowledge of PICC line management is preferred.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are required.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule depending on the needs of the patients.

· Should be self-starter who requires minimal supervision.

· Bilingual candidates in English and Spanish are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.

• Active RN license in Texas is required.

• BCLS is required within the first three months of hire.
