Job Description

Head of Revenue Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Revenue Operations based in the United States.

This is a senior opportunity to build and lead a modern Revenue Operations function within a growing B2B SaaS organization.
You will own the full GTM operations architecture across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, from Salesforce architecture to forecasting and deal governance.
You will establish scalable systems, clean data foundations, and processes that give teams confidence in their revenue decisions.
You will also build new capabilities such as Deal Desk, compensation planning, and AI-driven automation.
With significant autonomy and executive visibility, you will shape how the organization scales its revenue engine.
This is an ideal role for an experienced operator who enjoys building structure in an ambitious, evolving environment.

Accountabilities
  • Own the overall Revenue Operations strategy and define a cohesive operating model across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Assess, redesign, and strengthen the Salesforce architecture, ensuring clean data, consistent definitions, reliable reporting, and a trusted source of truth across the GTM organization.
  • Take ownership of the broader GTM technology ecosystem, including vendor selection, contracts, budgets, integrations, consolidation, and ongoing optimization.
  • Establish and manage revenue data integrity across systems, ensuring records, business definitions, attribution, and reporting remain accurate and consistent.
  • Build the Deal Desk function from the ground up, including pricing approvals, quote-to-close workflows, non-standard deal governance, and appropriate commercial guardrails.
  • Own Marketing Operations infrastructure, including lead capture, enrichment, routing, nurturing, attribution, and the measurement of marketing-generated pipeline.
  • Design and model sales and SDR compensation plans in partnership with Finance, ensuring plans support business objectives and are clearly documented.
  • Develop and own forecasting methodology, tooling, reporting cadence, and operating rhythms that provide reliable visibility to sales leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead annual GTM planning, including territory design, capacity planning, quota setting, and alignment with Sales leadership and Finance.
  • Codify and enforce core GTM processes, including lead routing, sourcing attribution, opportunity stages, qualification definitions, and forecasting standards.
  • Manage and develop the existing Business Systems team member, hire a planned GTM Engineer, and build the broader Revenue Operations organization as the business scales.
  • Drive automation and AI-enabled workflows across the GTM stack to improve efficiency, data quality, reporting, and operational scalability.
  • Establish measurable first-year outcomes, including a unified data model, functioning Deal Desk, standardized lead processes, reliable forecasting, and documented compensation plans.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing clear analysis, revenue insights, and recommendations that support growth and operational decision-making.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or GTM Operations within B2B SaaS, including at least 2 years leading a function or significant operational area.
  • Deep, hands-on Salesforce expertise, with demonstrated success improving an inherited Salesforce environment, including its architecture, data quality, workflows, and reporting.
  • Experience owning the architecture connecting CRM and marketing automation platforms and creating an integrated GTM technology environment.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, Common Room, Nooks, and Gong, or comparable GTM technologies.
  • Proven experience establishing new operational functions such as Deal Desk, Marketing Operations, or Customer Success Operations.
  • Strong experience designing and modeling compensation plans for Account Executives and SDR teams.
  • Demonstrated ownership of forecasting methodology, annual planning, territory design, capacity planning, and quota setting within a growing sales organization.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with fluency in pipeline metrics, conversion analysis, revenue forecasting, and business performance modeling.
  • Ability to communicate and defend complex operational and revenue insights to senior executives and board-level stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of GTM processes, revenue data architecture, attribution, pipeline management, and operational governance.
  • Experience working with ambiguity and building systems and processes without relying on an established playbook.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a willingness to remain hands-on and personally execute critical initiatives.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication, project management, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience with cybersecurity, developer tools, open-source businesses, channel sales, or usage-based/seat-based pricing models is a plus.
  • A background in converting open-source adoption or product usage signals into enterprise revenue opportunities is advantageous.
Benefits
  • Base salary range of $210,000–$250,000 USD, depending on skills, knowledge, experience, and final leveling.
  • Potential eligibility for a bonus and stock options.
  • Meaningful equity participation aligned with long-term company success.
  • Fully remote position available throughout the United States.
  • Flexible paid time off with a high degree of autonomy and trust.
  • 14 paid holidays, including company-wide break days.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 80% of premiums covered for employees and dependents.
  • $800 new-hire remote work stipend plus $100 per month for ongoing workspace expenses.
  • $1,200 annual health and wellness stipend supporting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • $2,000 annual learning and development stipend for courses, certifications, conferences, and professional growth.
  • 401(k) matching at 100% of the first 6% of employee contributions.
  • Twice-yearly company off-sites designed to strengthen collaboration and team connection.
  • A culture centered on mentorship, equity, psychological safety, autonomy, and inclusive collaboration.
