- Own the end-to-end prescription experience for newly onboarded provider practices and escalated cases, from initial submission through final determination.
- Navigate prior authorizations across insurance plans, pharmacies, and affordability programs to ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Investigate cases from end to end, identify stalled or unresolved issues, coordinate with the appropriate internal teams, and maintain ownership through resolution.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues before they create prescription delays, working directly with providers, health plans, pharmacies, and other stakeholders when needed.
- Communicate with patients and providers through phone, email, and text, providing knowledgeable, responsive, and empathetic support.
- De-escalate sensitive or high-stress situations while ensuring patients and providers feel heard, supported, and confident in the resolution process.
- Maintain exceptional accuracy across all casework, recognizing the importance of precision when working with prescriptions, insurance information, and patient needs.
- Identify recurring patterns across prescription cases and translate those findings into practical guidance, process improvements, or escalations for internal teams.
- Learn and use proprietary software and operational tools efficiently while adapting to evolving workflows and processes.
- Exercise sound judgment when determining whether to intervene, escalate an issue, or allow an existing workflow to continue.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex patient and provider issues and ensure a seamless prescription experience.
- Experience in a role requiring analytical problem-solving, operational discipline, ownership of outcomes, and the ability to independently drive issues through resolution.
- Client-facing or customer-facing experience, with confidence communicating by phone, email, and text and a willingness to proactively contact stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills, with the ability to navigate difficult conversations while maintaining empathy, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Healthcare or medical experience is strongly valued, including backgrounds such as medical assisting, pre-med, healthcare support, or related fields.
- Ability to manage a varied and growing caseload, prioritize competing demands, and independently organize a personal queue in a high-volume environment.
- Strong ability to learn complex software systems quickly and work comfortably with operational data and technology-driven workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to investigate ambiguous problems, understand dependencies across processes, and drive issues to resolution.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a very high level of accuracy.
- Adaptability and sound judgment when workflows, priorities, or processes change.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work a full-time Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM schedule.
