This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior ERP Product Marketing Manager (QuickBooks Migration) based in United States.
As a Senior ERP Product Marketing Manager, you will own the positioning, messaging, and content strategy for a program helping growing small businesses transition from QuickBooks to modern cloud ERP. You will develop compelling narratives that explain when businesses have outgrown their accounting systems and why an integrated ERP platform can better support their next stage of growth. The role spans product marketing, industry-specific storytelling, customer advocacy, go-to-market strategy, and marketing enablement. You will tailor messaging for construction, manufacturing, distribution, professional services, and related micro-verticals. Working closely with product, sales, partner, and marketing teams, you will translate complex capabilities into clear business value. This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic, highly skilled communicator who combines analytical thinking with creative storytelling.
- Own positioning and messaging for the QuickBooks migration program, clearly communicating the business value of moving to a modern cloud ERP platform.
- Develop differentiated messaging that explains why and when growing small businesses outgrow QuickBooks and how an ERP solution addresses their evolving needs.
- Build industry- and micro-vertical-specific messaging for construction, manufacturing, distribution, professional services, and related segments.
- Develop thought leadership, content, and market messaging grounded in customer needs, ideal customer profiles, industry trends, and real-world business challenges.
- Support end-to-end go-to-market strategies and collaborate with marketing teams responsible for campaign execution.
- Partner with customer advocacy teams to develop and enhance customer stories, videos, and other evidence demonstrating successful transitions from QuickBooks.
- Collaborate closely with product, sales, partner, and industry teams to align messaging with product roadmaps, priorities, and capabilities.
- Use performance data and analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness, refine content, and improve strategies across industry segments.
- Develop video scripts, product overview content, comparison videos, and interactive demos that showcase relevant workflows and use cases.
- Maintain and evolve marketing assets such as website messaging, comparison guides, datasheets, infographics, brochures, and industry-specific materials.
- Support release planning and ensure internal and external stakeholders remain aligned on positioning as products and capabilities evolve.
- Contribute to trade shows, webinars, partner events, customer events, presentations, and thought leadership sessions.
- Translate complex ERP functionality into clear, compelling business benefits for small business decision-makers.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of product marketing experience, with strong knowledge of small business accounting software, ERP or business management systems, accounting processes, business technology, and B2B marketing.
- Direct experience with QuickBooks or comparable small business accounting platforms; hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop is a strong plus.
- Experience marketing to or supporting construction, manufacturing, distribution, professional services, or related industries is preferred.
- Strong understanding of product marketing principles, positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, and B2B buyer needs.
- Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and ERP capabilities in clear, accessible language for small business audiences.
- Strong analytical and creative thinking, with the ability to combine market insight, data, and compelling storytelling.
- Excellent organization, communication, multitasking, and project management skills.
- Experience with marketing technologies such as WordPress, Jasper or comparable AI tools, Camtasia, Asana, CRM platforms, SharePoint, and Wistia is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product, sales, customer advocacy, partner, and industry teams.
- Comfortable presenting at events, webinars, partner sessions, and other customer-facing forums.
- Positive, collaborative, and practical approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to build lasting professional relationships and contribute to shared team success.
- Educational background in marketing, English, public relations, journalism, business, philosophy, computer science, or a related field.
Benefits:
- Annual salary range of $130,000–$145,000, depending on location, skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
