This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Manager (Comfort Medical) - West Region based in United States.
This regional leadership role is responsible for driving sales performance and executing field strategy across the Western United States. You will lead, coach, and develop a team of field sales representatives while translating broader business objectives into clear regional priorities and execution plans. The role combines sales leadership, talent development, financial planning, customer relationship management, and operational oversight. You will build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders while identifying opportunities to strengthen market performance. Success requires strong business judgment, analytical capabilities, and the ability to lead teams through a competitive and evolving healthcare environment. The position is designed for an experienced sales leader who can balance commercial results with ethical, compliant, and customer-focused execution.
- Lead regional sales execution, establish priorities, and drive the team toward organizational KPIs, sales targets, and quotas.
- Monitor account and territory performance, identify gaps, redirect resources, and implement strategies to improve sales effectiveness.
- Translate business strategies into regional objectives, tactics, staffing plans, account assignments, budgets, and operating plans.
- Manage regional sales forecasts, budgets, operating expenses, and overall top-line sales and bottom-line profit performance.
- Maintain and review sales information and performance data using platforms such as Salesforce, Brightree, and Power BI, and provide recommendations for representative quotas.
- Recruit, onboard, develop, coach, and retain high-performing and ethical sales professionals.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback, skills development, leadership, and support while addressing performance issues when necessary.
- Establish challenging goals, motivate team members, recognize achievements, and foster accountability and collaboration.
- Act as a liaison between the field sales organization and functions such as Sales Operations, Training, and other internal teams.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers and healthcare stakeholders while supporting customer loyalty and service excellence.
- Identify strategic business opportunities and use market knowledge to strengthen regional growth and competitive positioning.
- Ensure all team activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, privacy requirements, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 5+ years of successful DME sales experience, or 2+ years of medical sales management experience combined with 3+ years of general medical technology sales experience.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and lead sales teams in complex and highly competitive markets.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60%–75%, including overnight travel.
- Residence within the assigned sales region or a reasonable proximity to it.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Experience with reporting, project management, and account- or region-level planning.
- Ability to develop strong knowledge of products, reimbursement practices, and services.
- Understanding of industry trends, technologies, competitors, and market dynamics.
- Proactive, responsive, results-oriented approach with the ability to adapt to change.
- Strong ethical judgment and commitment to applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Ability to develop relationships with internal and external customers using consultative approaches.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to clearly articulate and advocate for ideas.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as CRM databases.
