Administers, directs, and coordinates inter- and intra-departmental activities. Work is performed in accordance with Kentucky regulations for Registered Nurses, established hospital standards, patient care services department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital, nursing and education services.

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state license. BLS required. ACLS is preferred within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months. NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 3 months from date of hire. Certification in area of expertise preferred. EXPERIENCE: No experience required for part-time and full-time employees. Prefer Critical Care.
