Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville employees are responsible for perpetuating the Vision, Mission, and Values of the organization. Supervises and directs the services provided by the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Functions as a primary care giver as well as charge nurse. The employee will collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team, to create a therapeutic environment for patients undergoing elective or emergent diagnostic and interventional Cardiac procedures.

Associates in Nursing from an accredited program preferred required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current state licensure and BLS required. ACLS certification preferred within 3 months not to exceed 6 months from date of employment.

EXPERIENCE: Two years Critical Care or Telemetry experience preferred. EKG recognition class required prior to completion of orientation. Moderate Sedation competency education required prior to completion of orientation. AGE APPROPRIATE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Demonstrates an understanding of the cognitive, physical, and emotional development of the people they serve: Adult and Geriatric.
