The Opportunity
H-Wave is looking for a remote Personal Injury Lien Representative based in California to join our operations team. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, is detail-oriented, and enjoys working on a team. The Personal Injury Lien Representative will play a crucial role in supporting the personal injury department by gathering and maintaining medical records, negotiating, resolving lien balances, and monitoring payment statuses.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter personal injury accounts accurately into the patient portal system
- Track and manage data with Excel for accuracy and up-to-date information
- Organize communication related to attorney packets
- Process medical records and balance confirmation requests
- Negotiate and resolve lien balances for optimal outcomes
- Maintain positive relationships with law firms through exceptional customer service
- Follow up with funding companies on overdue accounts for timely resolution
- Monitor settlement trends and provide regular updates to the department
Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED required
- Must be a California resident
- Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Mathematical skills including but not limited to basic arithmetic, computing averages, percentages, and medians
- Strong prioritization skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of personal injury process from start to finish
- Must be flexible and a team player, work and communicate respectfully with other departments
Physical Requirements
This is a position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder.
