About This Position
Position Summary:
Responsible for drafting the Turnaround (TAR) work packages on the Capital and Expense budget portfolio, along with additional designs requested by Engineers and Project Managers. Complete field walk downs to verify pipe routing, equipment foundation locations, and identify any structural steel required to draft detailed engineering drawings.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the following):
* Work with Process Engineers to draft any drawings for potential new projects in Stage 1.
* Work with the Process, Reliability, and Project Engineers to draft Stage 2 drawings for estimates and Stage 2 closure.
* Complete field walk downs to generate the Stage 3 detailed designs for Refining and Logistics projects.
* Compile and draft the TAR MOC changes on a Master Set of TAR Startup PIDs for operations.
* Verify field dimensions during TAR for replacement parts and verify correct installation of components.
Job Qualifications (refers to job, not incumbent):
Education: High School diploma required. A degree in Auto-Cad or related field is preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of drafting in petrochemical environment or other heavy industry required.

* Proficient in computer skills and Auto-Cad.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to travel to CountryMark locations to design projects (5%).
