Systems Engineer I at DiSTI Corporation – Orlando, Florida

We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer who has experience developing software and can solve problems. The ideal candidate will have a BS in electrical, mechanical, software, or computer engineering or equivalent experience, as well as at least 1 year of experience developing complex, multidisciplinary systems.

We are currently operating in a Hybrid work environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Working with a team, plan, design, develop, test, and document complex software and hardware solutions for new products, new features, customer demonstrations, and program development.
• Review contractual documents (Specification, Statement of Work, Technical Manuals, etc.) and recommend viable solution approaches.
• Conduct internal software and/or hardware testing to ensure requirements are met during Customer testing. Direct/oversee Customer acceptance test.
• Use technical innovations to improve individual and team processes and code development.
• Make innovative team contributions that improve the overall team performance and improve customer satisfaction.
• Continuously learn new concepts and become recognized as an expert in certain domains.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a substantial amount of time operating a computer terminal.
• Frequently communicates with clients, team members, etc.
• Travel is required
