Material Handler

Metalcraft is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and accurately record incoming materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Prepare and deliver material kits to production lines.
• Restock materials at point-of-use locations.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklift, walk-behind lift).
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Assist with shipping operations as needed.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds
• Basic math and organizational skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in computer systems
• Forklift operator certification (preferred)

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Education/Experience:

• High School
• Robust computer skills
• UPS/Fed Ex shipping experience
• Receiving and LTL shipment experience desirable
• Material handling equipment operation including forklift
