JOB SUMMARY
- The LPN is responsible for administering nursing care to patients via the nursing process; assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating. The nurse also instructs patients and significant others in health care practices, working in collaboration with other health team members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Professional & Technical Skills
- Professional & Technical Skills - Experience gained through an approved School of Nursing plus an appropriate period of hospital orientation to the assigned patient care area and to personnel.

Education
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

License(s) or Certification(s)
- Must possess a current Indiana license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Other Skills or Requirements
- Ability to type 30 wpm with 6 errors or less.

Skilled to Care for Certain Age-Related Patient Groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups)
