About This Position
We are looking for an enthusiastic Intern Developer to join our vibrant team.
This role is perfect for those deeply passionate about programming and eager to apply their skills in a real-world setting.
During your internship, you will work closely with our development team and gain practical experience using cutting-edge technologies in AI/ML and AR/VR. This position will allow you to develop and refine your technical skills and contribute significantly to meaningful projects.
The New England Center for Children (NECC) is a global leader in autism education and research, providing evidence-based services for over 45 years. The ACE Software System, a web-based platform, extends NECC's expertise, offering tools for assessing student needs, teaching new skills, and measuring progress.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- In AI/ML, basic knowledge of programming in Python and familiarity with Flask or similar frameworks.
- In AR/VR, basic knowledge of programming in 3D environments and machine vision
- Some exposure to REST APIs and understanding of client-server interaction.
- Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and collaborate in a team environment.
- High initiative, reliability, and willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to team success.
- Familiarity with using Slack for team communication is a plus.
- This would be a full time (32+ hours a week) and a paid internship that is onsite.
