Job SummaryThe Center on Drug and Alcohol Research is seeking a qualified candidate for a Research Analyst position.

The Center for Drug and Alcohol Research (CDAR) is currently seeking an individual to coordinate research on the inpatient addiction medicine consult service and outpatient addiction bridge clinic alongside some patient management and faculty administrative assistance in relation to the Kentucky Opioid Response Effort (KORE) Grant. Position serves as an administrative and research coordinator with the KORE grant.

Key responsibilities include various administrative and research support activities such as data management, data collection and report creation, coordinating meeting schedules and minutes, creation of educational and other research related reports and materials, and drafting correspondence. Other key responsibilities will include patient management such as patient scheduling and coordination, performing pre-authorizations, and purchasing relevant equipment and supplies.

Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesAbility to prioritize and work with minimal supervision. Excellent organizational skills, act independently with minimal supervision

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/ExperienceExperience with a substance abusing population is preferred. Acceptance of these populations is required. Experience with computers required.
