Retail Sales Associate in Courtland, Virginia at The Gerard Group, Inc

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities

- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products

- Provide product knowledge and information to customers

- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and organizing merchandise

- Process cash, charge and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently

- Help the sales and management team meet sales targets and goals

- Maintain hospitable relationships with customers to ensure repeat business

- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and store events

- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including light housekeeping

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent customer service skills

- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions

- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to work well in a small team environment

- Familiarity with technology products (e.g., electronics, wireless devices) is a plus

- Ability to adapt to changing customer needs and preferences

Shift and compensation

-Part-Time

-On-site only

-Year-round

-Includes daytime hours only

-Weekends and weekdays

-15-20 hours weekly

-Pay $14-15/hour commensurate with experience
