This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Quality Engineer or recent graduate to build expertise in software quality within the life sciences technology sector.
You will join a collaborative Quality Assurance and Release Engineering team responsible for delivering reliable, high-quality software to customers.
The role combines functional testing, test automation, documentation, defect analysis, and close collaboration with engineering and product teams.
You will work across products supporting pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical device organizations.

- Create and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, bug reports, quality assessments, and risk documentation.
- Execute functional and quality assurance testing to verify software behavior and outcomes within established schedules and release timelines.
- Contribute to test automation, working closely with automation specialists to automate product features and strengthen regression test coverage.
- Triage automation results, investigate failures, and support the identification and resolution of quality issues.
- Develop deep product expertise to better understand expected behavior, customer needs, risks, and potential quality concerns.
- Identify and communicate defects and risks clearly through structured documentation and collaboration with relevant teams.
- Collaborate within Agile teams alongside software engineers, product managers, QA professionals, and other stakeholders throughout the development and release lifecycle.
- Continuously improve testing practices by applying modern QA methodologies, automation approaches, and software development best practices.
- Education or relevant professional experience in software development, software testing, quality engineering, or a related technical discipline; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Programming experience in Java and/or mobile development languages, with an understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches, including black-box and/or automated testing in environments with frequent software releases.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies, with genuine curiosity and a proactive approach to developing technical expertise.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and collaborate effectively across technical and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment, contributing to shared goals and adapting to changing priorities.
- Nice to have: Experience with SQL and programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Greenhopper, or Clover.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of modern software development practices and mobile testing or automation technologies such as Appium, XCUI, Espresso, or KIF.
- Nice to have: Experience or knowledge of Android or iOS application development.
- Base salary: $70,000–$100,000 USD, with actual compensation varying according to experience, qualifications, location, and expected contribution.
