  • Low-Cost Health Insurance: Employer covers 75% of health insurance premiums for comprehensive medical coverage. Full dental and vision plans are also available.

  • Low Caseload Expectation: Small, highly manageable caseload capped at just 3–4 clients to prioritize clinical quality over high-volume billing.

  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): Robust PTO package and paid holidays to support rest and work-life integration.

  • Retirement Benefits: 401(k) plan with company match.

  • Professional Development: Professional growth stipends, CEU support, and direct executive backing to lead center strategy.

Position Summary

The Clinical Director oversees the daily clinical operations, financial performance, quality standards, and team development at the Gilbert center. In this role, you will balance financial and business operation management with a small caseload of 3–4 clients while partnering with corporate leadership to guide center strategy, mentor a team of BCBAs and RBTs, and foster a collaborative, data-driven environment focused on continuous client progress and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical Leadership & Team Mentorship

  • Provide direct management, clinical oversight, and ongoing mentorship to the center's team of BCBAs, student analysts, and RBTs.

  • Drive hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development of clinic staff in partnership with operational leadership.

  • Guarantee client ABA treatment plans and programs are implemented with high fidelity through regular observations, data reviews, and staff coaching.

  • Lead clinical team meetings, case reviews, and cross-discipline collaboration efforts.

2. Direct Practice & Caseload Management

  • Maintain a small, high-quality caseload of 3–4 clients, conducting comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments.

  • Design, implement, and oversee individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment data.

  • Continuously track, graph, and analyze behavioral progress to make data-based treatment modifications.

  • Conduct structured parent/caregiver training sessions to promote skill generalization across home and community settings.

3. Financial & Strategic Business Operations

  • Manage clinic financial performance, budget alignment, and overall business operations to ensure sustainable center growth.

  • Partner with operational teams to optimize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including clinic profitability, hour utilization, staff productivity, and retention.

  • Ensure full compliance with BACB ethical guidelines, state licensure laws (LBA), billing regulations, and funding requirements.

  • Resolve escalated family, caregiver, or clinical concerns in a professional, solutions-oriented manner.

Qualifications Required

  • Certification: Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D) certification in good standing with the BACB.

  • Licensure: Current Arizona Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license (or immediate eligibility to obtain).

  • Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of clinical ABA experience, with demonstrated success in financial/business operation management and supervisory leadership in a center-based environment.

  • Skills: Strong financial acumen, business operations management, analytical capabilities, clinical assessment, and executive team leadership.
