Position Summary
The UNM-Valencia Campus is seeking candidates for temporary,part-time faculty to teach Nursing courses in a clinical setting. Thiswill be a continuous recruitment beginning with the spring 2027 semester.
Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in ruralValencia county, the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-yearbranch campus of the University of New Mexico which functions as a communitycollege in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With anemphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transferprograms, technical vocational programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit HighSchool/College courses to Valencia and Socorro counties.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or nursing education
- Active NM RN License or multistate RN compact license
- At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience within the last 5 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in nursing or nursing education
- Experience with precepting nurses or students
- A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the Universitys mission to serve local and global communities
