The Role:

The Cybersecurity Supervisor leads day-to-day cybersecurity operations and initiatives spanning incident response, governance, risk management, security tools, and data protection. The role partners with IT and business teams to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of NKSFB systems and data.

What You Will Do:

Leadership and Program Management

  • Set team goals, priorities, assignments, development plans, and escalation paths aligned with departmental objectives.
  • Coach and mentor team members and coordinate coverage and incident assignments.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews.
  • Maintain the Risk and Event Register and coordinate penetration testing and remediation.

Incident Response and Security Operations

  • Conduct incident response, tabletop exercises, digital forensics, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reporting.
  • Oversee security monitoring, endpoint, firewall, email security, DLP, encryption, MDM, and application security controls.
  • Manage cloud and access security, including Conditional Access and multifactor authentication, in collaboration with IT teams.

Governance, Risk, and Compliance

  • Enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures aligned with CIS18 and applicable requirements, including CCPA, CPRA, and GDPR.
  • Lead SOC 2 and audit support activities and oversee the Third-Party Risk Management program.
  • Review AI and other emerging technologies for security, privacy, and governance compliance.

Awareness and Cross-Functional Support

  • Deliver security awareness training and phishing simulations based on organizational risk.
  • Partner with Enterprise Applications and project teams to implement secure solutions; support litigation searches and protection of sensitive information.
  • Advise on physical security controls for facilities and infrastructure.

Vendor and Financial Management

  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, licensing, renewals, and service value.
  • Monitor cybersecurity spending and align resources with organizational priorities.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 7 years in cybersecurity roles.
  • Preferred certifications include:

CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert

CompTIA Security+

CCIE Security

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Expertise in incident response, digital forensics, and penetration testing.
  • Proficiency with security monitoring tools like Varonis, Darktrace, Arctic Wolf, Checkpoint, and Cisco Umbrella.
  • Strong knowledge of email security, DLP, and encryption standards.
  • Experience with IT governance frameworks (CIS18, SOC2, NIST) and regulatory requirements (CCPA, GDPR).
  • Experience with cloud security, including Conditional Access Policies and MFA.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Batch, BASH, or Python is a plus.
  • Knowledge of network security principles, including switching, VLANs, routing, and firewalls.

Salary Range: The salary range for this role is ($120,000 -$150,000) and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
