Terry H2O Solutions provides a range of water treatment solutions designed to integrate directly into water supply lines. Our products support a variety of applications, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, commercial kitchens, misting systems, and other environments where mineral scale accumulation is a concern. Our operation is located in Chandler, Arizona.

Position Summary

Terry H2O Solutions is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and coordinate daily production operations. This position is responsible for ensuring production schedules are achieved safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality standards.

The Production Manager will provide leadership to the production team, monitor workflow and productivity, address operational challenges, and communicate production status and roadblocks to management. The successful candidate will promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, safety, quality, and teamwork.

Requirements:

Essential Responsibilities

Supervisory & Employee Relations

  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate production team members to support performance and development.
  • Participate in interviewing and selection of candidates for open production positions.
  • Address employee relations, performance, behavioral, and attendance matters in accordance with company policies.
  • Partner with Human Resources and management on employee relations matters and documented corrective action, as appropriate.
  • Review and approve time-off requests while maintaining appropriate production coverage.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and productive work environment.
  • Identify training and development opportunities to strengthen team capabilities and performance.
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.

Production & Operations

  • Establish and monitor productivity goals to ensure production meets customer and organizational expectations.
  • Assign work orders and production priorities based on the production schedule and available resources.
  • Monitor production progress and maintain accurate records of completed orders.
  • Communicate production status, delays, and potential roadblocks to management in a timely manner.
  • Identify and resolve production issues and delays and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with established quality standards.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to optimize the physical layout and workflow of the production area.
  • Coordinate and escalate maintenance and equipment repair needs as appropriate.
  • Enforce applicable safety policies, procedures, and practices within the production area.
  • Conduct or coordinate safety training and promote practices designed to prevent workplace injuries.
  • Train new employees or delegate training responsibilities to qualified team members.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required.
  • Introduce and reinforce Lean manufacturing principles, including 5S and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading production teams and managing daily manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP, WMS, or other production/operations systems preferred.
  • Forklift certification is preferred but not required; training may be provided by the Company.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Spanish language proficiency is preferred but not required.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, counting, and measurement.
  • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and apply sound judgment when identifying solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees, management, and cross-functional teams.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate a sit-down forklift, powered pallet jack, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Ability to bend, squat, stand, sit, kneel, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.
  • Ability to use manual finger and wrist dexterity to handle, grasp, and control objects of various sizes.

Schedule

The normal schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The schedule may be adjusted based on production requirements and business needs.

Compensation

Base Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
