Job Description
Schedule: Wednesday evenings (5:30-6:40pm) & Saturday mornings (10:00-11:10am & 11:15-12:15pm), based on program needs. Non-seasonal, non-benefited staff.
Salary Range: $14.50-$15.95 DOE; all part-time employees receive a $20 premium family membership with employment.
Qualifications:
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Current USFSA membership + Coaching Accreditation OR USA Hockey Membership + Coaching Accreditation
· 2+ years of teaching LTS or skating (hockey or figure)
What You’ll Do:
· Lead Learn-to-Skate classes either by yourself or with a LTS instructor; lead or co-teach Advanced Adult or Aspire Academy level-classes
· Communicate effectively with both students and other LTS instructors and professionals
· Cultivate an inclusive, positive, and upbeat environment that ensures skating becomes a safe, fun space for all participants
· Monitor participants and respond appropriately to safety concerns, injuries, or emergencies
Supervision:
This position works under the supervision of the Ice Programs Coordinator.
