Full-Time | Friday–Sunday | Three 12-Hour Shifts

Ally Psychiatry is seeking an experienced and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our inpatient behavioral health team at Pinewood Springs in Columbia, Tennessee.

This unique full-time position offers a consistent Friday through Sunday schedule, allowing you to complete your workweek in three 12-hour shifts while enjoying four days off each week.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
  • Develop and manage individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Provide ongoing psychiatric medication management
  • Monitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and potential side effects
  • Adjust treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical needs
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, social workers, case managers, and facility leadership
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
  • Provide patient and family education when appropriate
  • Support continuity of care throughout hospitalization and discharge planning
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Deliver compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered psychiatric care

Requirements: Qualifications
  • Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
  • Current board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with psychiatric experience
  • Active Tennessee license
  • Active DEA registration
  • Psychiatric or behavioral health experience strongly preferred
  • Previous inpatient psychiatry or hospital-based experience is a plus
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while remaining actively engaged with a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality mental healthcare
