  • Deep knowledge of health data, multi-payer databases, public healthcare payers, claims processing, and claims data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of US healthcare policy, industry trends, eligibility, utilization, healthcare costs, and health equity.
  • Knowledge of the role of state governments in healthcare and how policy and regulatory environments influence healthcare data.
  • Advanced data analysis and visualization capabilities using SQL, Python, R, Excel, or comparable tools.

  • Advanced proficiency with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, database management, and cloud-based data environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, analytical, and data interpretation skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work for prolonged periods at a desk using a computer.
