Dishwasher in San Antonio, Texas at Ladino

This position is responsible for team leadership, food standards, and leading by example. It is meant to set you up for the next step into ordering and team management.

• Work 4-5 days a week in their restaurant.
• Maintain a positive work environment in the dish area.
• Report to chef if any maintenance issues occur.
• Maintain dish washing area cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure dish washing area floors are clear of excess water.
• Handle all plates and equipment with care.
• Maintain chemicals attached to dish machines and monitor levels.
• Dilute chemicals to proper levels for washing and sanitizing.
• Work in conjunction with FOH team members to prioritize glassware during service.
• Maintain trash can levels in dish washing area.
• Be responsible for stainless steel equipment’s carbon build up, buff daily. Ensure no residue is left on stainless steel pots, pans and sheet trays.
• Keep kitchen vents clean.
• Focus on closes, speed and cleanliness.
• Lead by example and push productivity.
• Be an ambassador of the company and professionally represent themselves in and outside of work
• This position is expected to work 40-50 hours a week
