Senior Vice President, Multifamily Asset Management
Miami, Florida (On-site) | Asset Management | Full-Time | Exempt
ABOUT FIFTEEN GROUP CAPITAL |
Since 1992, Fifteen Group Capital LLC has built a reputation as one of the most successful multidisciplinary real estate investment firms in the market. Our entrepreneurial approach and outstanding investment track record have positioned us as a leader in opportunistic, value-add real estate investments across multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use assets in Florida, Texas, California, and the broader Sunbelt.
We pride ourselves on fostering innovation, strategic thinking, and exceptional results across our nationwide portfolio. We are a lean, high-performing team that values decisive action, smart capital deployment, and giving our people real ownership over their work.
THE OPPORTUNITY |
Fifteen Group Capital is seeking a Senior Vice President of Multifamily Asset Management to join our Miami headquarters and play a pivotal role in driving the performance of our extensive real estate portfolio. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned executive to work directly with firm ownership and principals, influence strategic investment decisions, and make a meaningful impact on a growing, high-performing organization.
In this role, you will be at the center of our multifamily operations — combining analytical rigor with strategic vision to optimize asset performance across diverse markets. You will have the autonomy to drive initiatives, lead a team, and shape the firm’s asset management platform in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with direct access to senior leadership and meaningful participation in the firm’s success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO |
Strategic Asset Management
- Partner directly with firm ownership and senior leadership to develop and execute comprehensive business plans for existing assets and new acquisitions across the portfolio.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of portfolio operating results, identify key trends, and deliver actionable strategic recommendations to firm principals.
- Lead due diligence efforts on potential acquisitions, contributing directly to investment decisions that shape portfolio growth and strategy.
- Advise on hold/sell decisions, capital allocation, and portfolio repositioning based on deep market knowledge and rigorous financial analysis.
- Maintain oversight of all assets through the full investment lifecycle, from acquisition onboarding through disposition.
Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with property management teams nationwide to implement strategic initiatives and ensure operational goals are achieved across all portfolio assets.
- Establish performance expectations, KPIs, and reporting standards for property management teams and hold them accountable to results.
- Work closely with the capital projects group to oversee renovation and rehabilitation programs that enhance asset value and drive NOI growth.
- Travel regularly to properties across the portfolio to build relationships with on-site teams and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Manage property management contracts, fee structures, and performance evaluations.
Financial Analysis & Planning
- Review and approve capital budgets while establishing long-term strategic goals for portfolio assets.
- Create sophisticated financial models using historical data to guide investment and operational decisions.
- Monitor performance metrics, market trends, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities for portfolio enhancement.
- Prepare and deliver investor reporting, capital account statements, and portfolio performance updates for equity partners and firm principals.
- Lead debt refinancing analysis, agency loan executions, and capital structure optimizations across the portfolio.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the asset management team, setting performance standards and fostering a high-performance, accountable culture.
- Establish best practices, workflows, and reporting standards that scale with the firm’s growing portfolio.
- Represent asset management in firm-wide leadership discussions, investment committee presentations, and strategic planning.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR |
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field required. MBA or Master’s in Real Estate strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in multifamily asset management, operations, and acquisitions with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
- Proven track record managing complex, geographically diverse portfolios at significant scale (3,000+ units preferred).
- Experience with value-add and opportunistic multifamily investment strategies, including renovation program oversight and asset repositioning.
- Industry designations such as CPM or CCIM are valued.
Technical Excellence
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager and revenue management platforms.
- Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Leadership & Mindset
- A natural problem-solver with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including ownership and investors.
- Self-motivated executive who thrives in an entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment and operates with a high degree of independence.
- Results-oriented with a proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and drive performance across a large portfolio.
- Ownership mentality — you hold yourself and your team to the same standard you would if it were your own capital.
WHAT WE OFFER |
- Competitive Compensation. Base salary and performance bonus commensurate with experience, plus carried interest participation.
- Seat at the Table. Direct exposure to firm ownership and senior leadership with real influence over portfolio strategy and investment decisions.
- Platform Scale. Lead asset management for a growing nationwide portfolio with an active acquisitions pipeline across Florida, Texas, California, and the Sunbelt.
- Best-in-Class Team. Work alongside an investment team with over 30 years of market expertise and a track record of identifying and executing where others see complexity.
- Comprehensive Benefits. Health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with company match; paid time off and holidays.
- Entrepreneurial Culture. A fast-moving, results-driven environment where high performers are given real autonomy, genuine accountability, and the opportunity to grow with the firm.
