You will join a fast-moving engineering team building and scaling mobile applications used by more than 15,000 restaurants worldwide.
The role focuses on delivering high-quality, reliable mobile experiences that directly support restaurant operations at scale.
You will take full ownership of features from concept through production, working in an environment that values speed, quality, and accountability.
The team operates with an AI-forward mindset, leveraging modern tooling to accelerate development and improve decision-making.
You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to build scalable and maintainable mobile solutions.
This is a highly impactful role where your work will influence real-world business operations and customer experience every day.
- Take end-to-end ownership of mobile features, from design and development to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Build and iterate rapidly by breaking work into small, shippable increments using modern development and AI-assisted tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable mobile architectures and improve product quality.
- Ensure high standards of quality through strong testing practices, performance optimization, and reliability-focused development.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to engineering best practices, and help improve overall system architecture.
- Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to raising technical excellence across the team.
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade mobile applications with ownership of features end-to-end.
- Strong expertise in either React Native with TypeScript/modern JavaScript or native Android development using Kotlin and modern frameworks.
- Solid understanding of mobile system design, including offline support, caching, networking, and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating and designing RESTful APIs with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Strong background in automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and production monitoring.
- Experience working with observability tools such as Datadog, Sentry, Grafana, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor others, provide feedback, and influence technical direction.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, agile environments while managing complex technical challenges.
- Salary range: $130,000 – $150,000 CAD, based on experience and location.
