This role sits at the heart of a mission-driven financial ecosystem focused on delivering reliable, high-quality digital experiences for thousands of users. You will be responsible for ensuring the robustness, stability, and quality of critical credit and financial systems that support cooperative operations at scale. Working in a collaborative and agile environment, you will interact closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to define and execute comprehensive testing strategies. The position combines manual and automated testing practices, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and prevention of production issues. You will also contribute to a culture of quality, helping shape best practices and strengthen QA maturity across teams. This is a highly impactful role where your work directly supports secure and efficient financial services for cooperative members across Brazil.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, document, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API systems, ensuring coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Create and maintain test strategies, test plans, defect reports, and quality documentation to support delivery governance.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs while ensuring clear communication of risks, issues, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and refinement sessions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve testability, processes, and overall software quality.
  • Define regression and progressive testing scenarios, ensuring consistent validation across releases.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by sharing knowledge and promoting quality culture within the team.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related IT fields.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Test Analyst.
  • Experience with functional and non-functional testing approaches.
  • Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Experience with test automation scripting for web and API testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe).
  • Experience with BDD practices.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and ability to write SQL/T-SQL/PLSQL queries.
  • Experience with Git for version control.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative mindset.

Nice to have:

  • Experience maintaining and evolving automation test frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, IBM Cloud).
  • Background in financial systems.
  • Certifications in software testing (e.g., CTFL, CTAL).
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), and DevOps culture.
  • Strong logical reasoning and programming fundamentals.
